Open Mat
Team open mat training sessions are informal, non-instructional classes which allow students the opportunity to individually work on drills and techniques. Upper levels are on-hand to assist increasing areas of learning and staff available for safety. Additionally, there is the opportunity to get extra rolling (spar) with other team members.
Seminars
We regularly offer seminars with top performing BJJ Black Belts to enhance learning. Some Black Belts who regularly visit our academy are:
Robson Moura, Gustavo Dantas, Vitor Shaolin Ribeiro, Marcelo Finotti, Ramon Carrico, Marcelo (Pato) Pereira, Wendell (Dell) Alexander, Daniel Garcia, Charuto Verissimo, Flavio Kenup, Jeff Mitchell, Josef Manuel, Rodrigo Praxedes, Danny Dring, Bruno Bastos, and Rico Bastos to name a few.
These guest black belts improve learning, add integrity to training, and increase the overall experience for students.
Women Only Class
Our women are an important part of the team. We offer special classes for our women for them to work specifically with other ladies. These classes enhance the learning experience and build strong relationships amongst the team.
Team Training Camps
Our team offers two different camps each year; one in High Point, NC and another in Tampa, Fl. Team black belts gather to run multiple training seminars over 2-3 days. These camps are team-building and a great way to drastically improve students learning. Many relationships are built through these type events.
Graduations
Graduations (rank promotions) are an important part of our program. Students are recognized for their growth, performance and learning through the ranking process in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Student rank is recognized through Robson Moura (RMNU) and the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation).
